It would be nice if user has control on where to snap cursor through right click in Audio Editor and Montage.
-
Envelope smoothing has a short cut, but when working with a larger number of files it may be good to have an option to right click and choose envelope smoothing. Or in other words is it possible to take Envelope Smoothing out of Inspector?
For hundreds of clips, the non-shortcut way to work with envelope smoothing and mono-stereo envelope switch would be
- To have on right click from the clip or
- To transfer Envelope Smoothing to the ribbon
Because
- The Envelope is already tweaked without the Inspector
- In all the hundreds of clips, not every clip may need envelope smoothing and to change the shape of a non-inspector process, it is unnecessary to open the Inspector.
- The existing workflow can involve opening hundreds of inspectors.
- Although a nice feature in the Ribbon to convert Mono Envelopes to Stereo and vice versa, the envelope’s basic features seem to be located in unusual places.
(Envelope + Reset in the clip, Smoothing in the Inspector and Mono to Stereo and Reset All in the Ribbon) - Also in Audio Editor, the Envelope + Reset + Smoothing by default is visible in the process windows and not opened from elsewhere.
