For hundreds of clips, the non-shortcut way to work with envelope smoothing and mono-stereo envelope switch would be
- To have on right click from the clip or
- To transfer Envelope Smoothing to the ribbon
Because
- The Envelope is already tweaked without the Inspector
- In all the hundreds of clips, not every clip may need envelope smoothing and to change the shape of a non-inspector process, it is unnecessary to open the Inspector.
- The existing workflow can involve opening hundreds of inspectors.
- Although a nice feature in the Ribbon to convert Mono Envelopes to Stereo and vice versa, the envelope’s basic features seem to be located in unusual places.
(Envelope + Reset in the clip, Smoothing in the Inspector and Mono to Stereo and Reset All in the Ribbon) - Also in Audio Editor, the Envelope + Reset + Smoothing by default is visible in the process windows and not opened from elsewhere.
