+1 … still needing this very much for a loong time
+1 would make my life a lot easier also!
+1 For the adjustable Ruler’s zero point!
Oh looks like I already replied to this over a year ago, but +1 again haha…
Another year has passed - time for your annual +1
+1! Judging by the time that’s passed, I doubt they’ll implement this.
Yes, but :
Display Bar Offset… offset the Seconds track also?
On the image, zero is indeed under the Cursor after using Set Timecode at Cursor, but we just want the Ruler to move so that zero is on a main grid increment, and not in the middle of nowhere, it should not display decimals like this, what in the world ?
That’s why it should (cough), has to be implemented.
+1 for this request, I can’t believe this is still not implemented…
+1 bump
Yes yes yes yes yes.
Also for the ruler with seconds. If you have several song in one project and you get comments on mix back from clients “at 2;21 …happens” it so difficult to find the right spot. If you can set the time ruler to 0 at song start that would be great!
+1 Bump… projects with multiple songs are a nightmare to deal with in Cubase
+1 from me.
Let’s bring up this wonderful thread again!
Startet 2019 and nothing has happened since…
Bittebittebitte…
Of course something has happened since. The feature is available now since Cubase 14.
Additionally you could place the playhead cursor at the beginning of song 3 (I am referring to the OP opening example), click on the position display field, press Numpad+ and enter 1:31.000 in the pop-up Add field.
Phantastic!
Didn´t read anything about it in the release notes…was it announced somewhere?
The ruler track offset can be found in the manual under “What’s new in Cubase 14.0.0” but not in any of the marketing texts - a bit hidden maybe.
The Add box is, as far as I can see, undocumented and I have no idea for how long it exists in Cubase. I just recently learned about it from @Googly_Smythe .
@Johnny_Moneto: Thank you - this made my day!
