Save on Dorico, Iconica Opus and Etude in the Scoring Essentials Sale

Hi again,

I intend to purchase Dorico 6 today (Competitive Crossgrade from Sibelius).

At the moment I’m running Windows 10 on PC - therefore I’d need to download the Windows version, obviously. However, come October I’m most likely migrating to Mac (Mac Mini).

Therefore, am I able to download one OS version now and then another in October, please?; or do I have to repurchase the software over (which would be unfair in my eyes), please? Once I’m on Mac, I would only ever be running Dorico on that single device, so I guess I’d have to deregister it from my old machine?

Many thanks everyone.

Yes.

Jesper

Thank you so much, Jesele.

That’s so fast and helpful!

I going to buy the Dorico 6 without the orchestral sound library and grand piano bundle.

But will I need to deregister (on my PC) come Mac switch, please?

Cheers,

Paul

. . . (also) I’ve just purchased Dorico 6! How long, please, do I have to download it? Do I need to install it today or doesn’t it matter?

Much appreciated guys.

IIRC You get three activations; so if you keep the Windows machine as a backup, you can keep it activated and also activate a second instance on your Mac.

You can even deactivate on the Steinberg site should you need to.

Jesper

Oh really, Derek.

That’s pretty generous then, I’d say. So one copy at work; one at home; and one at my girlfriends so I can constantly sit on it every time I’m visiting! LOL

There used to be a term that floated around London whilst I was at college: “a Sibelius widow”.

Doesn’t matter. Just save your activation code.

Jesper

Sorted, Jesele.

Top man!

I was emailed a receipt, and I took a screen-grab in Paint. Cheers.
