Currently, I don’t think Dorico does this, but it would be highly desirable. I’ve been using Synthesizer V Studio Pro for about a year. I hate using their editor. It’s really hard on my eyes and I like using notation software. I’ve figured out a workflow to do my vocal scoring in Dorico and save a copy as an XML file. Then using MuseScore 4, I read the XML file created in Dorico and export it as a midi file. Then I open Synthesizer V Studio Pro and import the midi file that was exported by MuseScore 4. Seems convoluted. Does someone have a better approach? I’m not worried about integrating Synthesizer V with Dorico, because all of it ends up in Logic 11 anyway. I just want to avoid the Synthesizer V editor. Skipping the MuseScore step and having Dorico save lyrics to midi would be wonderful. (Or having an XML import option in Synthesizer V ). Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!!

Maybe not ideal, but Dorico does have a lyrics export function. It produces a plain text file, without hyphens. (There are plenty of online hyphenation sites if you need it hyphenated). Once you have the midi loaded into Synth V Studio, I believe it has an option to paste in lyrics from the clipboard. Just watch for melismas when pasting.
I’ve found that pasting lyrics into Synthesizer V is often inaccurate and doesn’t align well. Importing from a midi file produced from MuseScore seemed to work and align perfectly. I just tried a very short sample. I’ll report back further on this approach. Thanks!
