Session View or Clip Launcher in Cubase like Bitwig/Ableton

CLIP LAUNCHER / SESSION VIEW is a must. Period.

+1 to keep this alive. Ableton, Bitwig, Logic, and Studio One all have this feature now. I understand that some people may never use it, but that shouldn’t be a reason not to implement something that could genuinely move the software forward.

If Steinberg and Cubase want to stay relevant, we need features that can excite people outside of the existing community as well. Otherwise, the platform risks slowly fading over time, and I love Cubendo far too much to see that happen. Please make Cubase exciting again like when you introduced Modulators!

The more I think about this the more I want it, but after doing some research on the subject I think it would be a much bigger job than previously anticipated, as it would need to cross-interact with almost all track type events and not just handle one clip at a time but whole scenes.

For people like me who can’t write linear music, and often jam ideas or such, the potential is great for idea management, and subsequent improvisational composition.

If you had to choose between this and:

Integrated native plugin Chainer Insert (Steinberg official “wrapper”/Insert expander) - Cubase - Steinberg Forums

Which would you choose?
