When setting the ouput of instrument channels, you have to do 4 clicks minimum. When having to deal with a lot of channels (i.e. when using a Drum VSTi) it can get annoying really fast.
With a simple additional output field in the inspector, this could be done very easily and fast.
Clicking the circled icon displays your instrument’s outputs.
This is not what I meant. Its about the routing of each channel. I.e. when wanting to route each track to a different group, as you would do with real drums.
It’s working the same way as with other channel types. There are different places where you can do it.
Not exactly the same way. AFAIK there is no way to do it directly in the inspector. Or is it?
Can you show me a convenient way to do this, other than having to click through menus 4 times for each channel?
I echo this, I never got why this hasn’t been implemented…

Absolutely, it gets really annoying, as soon as you have multiple instrument tracks, with multiple outputs, which need to be routed to different groups…
