It would be nice to have the option of defining the size (and the position) of tempo markings separately between the score and parts so that the appearance of the score is more balanced when using large time signatures.
I mean a default option that avoids the user from changing time markings in the score by hand.
I know that in Engrave mode you can change the size and position of the tempo markings locally, but it is extra work for an ordinary operation.

The current quickest workaround I have found is to set the size as you like them in the parts globally, then “select more” of the tempo marks in the score and locally custom scale them there. It’s a an extra 3 step procedure and bearable but I agree that it would be nicer to set them differently between parts and score without a workaround.

What I do is simply to select all the tempo markings in the score and scale scale them (and possibly move their vertical position) locally.
Yes, this is certainly something we want to allow. The plan is to migrate tempos from using font styles, as they currently do, to using paragraph styles, which provides additional flexibility. I can’t say exactly when we will get to this, though.
