some projects freeze

imac pro 8core, 32 g ram, os 10.14.6, apollo tb interface

This is weird; Sometimes on some projects, when I re-open them they get the little wheel, and freeze up the program to the point where I have to force quit. If I then re-open CB, but select a different project everything works great. there seems to be (from my POV) no rime or reason for this activity. The anomalies have occurred over several different versions of CB, and even a previous imac & OS. Any thoughts?

There are other threads discussing the same issues. I’m also having freezing issues at random times.

I learned that I can start a new project and import the tracks from that one. Works.
