Superfluous (voice 2?) rests in condensing

Thanks again, Craig. In fact I discovered Condensing Changes during the past few days, and used it to solve something else that had been vexing me:

I had almost given up on this because I encountered a kind of Catch-22 - I couldn’t have two voices in the bar concerned because the note would then disappear completely in condensed mode, and I couldn’t have a reverse l.v. tie in a single voice because the note was already tied forwards. I didn’t want to take the 1st bassoon out of condensing, because the score is so large it has to have the lowest possible number of staves in a tutti. I hadn’t, for some reason, made the connection with the superfluous rests question. But I’m eager to try it for some other layout issues I’m getting, e.g. score order for doubling instruments.
