Just got an email saying it’s ready for download. Sounds like they are expecting their servers to be overwhelmed by their email - and indeed I couldn’t log in.
Seven days to download though before bad things happen.

I just downloaded it, great I get a file with no extension which seem to be a compressed file which winrar doesn’t recognize or any other archive apps i have!.. and a folder from a mac osx
looks like maybe it is Apple only for some reason or I’m missing something obvious
Could be something in how the file is being transferred… I wish we could test it but we still cannot even access the site

I just posted a ticket.
I don’t believe it is a corruption of the file as the file in question is inside the zip archive.
In other word the download is a zip file which downloaded correctly
but the file within the archive is the one which has no extension and is not usable.
I tried as a zip, rar, iso etc… no luck

What kind of video is it supposed to be? I think I saw on the website that it’s going to be a video that can be viewed on an iphone or something? Maybe you don’t have the correct viewer to be able to see it? (I’m waiting until I get home to try it…)

It appears that when the file was wrapped up in the zip container that the extension was remove from the file. This can be fixed by add the extension ‘.m4v’ to the file inside the zip package.
We will fix this soon - but as many are currently downloading the file it is not possible at the moment to make changes to it without interrupting their downloads.

it works in quicktime, I added the m4v extension, I assumed it was an archive as it was only one file.
would have been nice to have it split in multiple files, one for each topic…

Also just wanted to let everybody know that due to us being one day late in getting this released as well as some that might have had some troubles with order with a Credit Card in I.E - we are going to continue the sale price till Friday March 4th.

Hi, I understood that this tutorials came with a couple of Cubase projects, Is this true? In my download there was only a video. Thanks.
Just to clarify, you only recevied a video and none of the highlighted material in the quote above?

Download was smooth once I was able to access the site.
No goodies (checklists, templates, key maps, or demo projects) were included in the zip file.
The movie file itself opened up in iTunes when double-clicked. It also opened in QT without any issues.
Hopefully SWA will post the additional content at a link that purchasers can access.
Otherwise, at a glance, it looks like another well made tutorial.
2 failed downloads (Total 950Mb) for me so far…Hope this doesn’t keep happening as I have to pay £5 for every Gb I download
Is it common for companies to link a 1Gb file with no support for resuming downloads or without splitting into smaller chunks??
Surely I can’t be the only person left on the planet who doesn’t have unlimited fast broadband.
