I’m currently working on a concert band arrangement of Der Freischütz by Carl Maria von Weber. In the first finale (number 10) there is a lot of text to speech for the singers and I would like to know how to achieve this.
I would be grateful if someone could help me with this.

[If you want manually for only one page] You can do a Frame Break (Shift + F in Edit Mode) and then drag with the Note Spacing Tool.

Can you elaborate? Why a page template instead of manual page override?
With a page template, if the musical/text situation repeats on another page, or if an edit moves the original musical material a page earlier or later, it is far easier to reassign a page template than to rebuild the override on a new p[age from scratch.
@paul_l Sorry for reviving the thread: just to suggest that now is also possible to use Cutaways for such things. (No red squares overrides or extra page template needed). Just reestablish the correct bar numbering after the cutaway.:

Nice example. Not sure it can be used often but it’s good to know that we now can use that option.
Dorico has a clever way to change page templates and you can move them afterwards if need be. No overrides means ypu never get in the way of Dorico’s automatic capabilities.
