Sad news news indeed. I, like many others did not know him, but can say he was definately a forum gentleman.

Something similar (almost) happened to a friend of mine over the holidays. Her mother passed away and, while on the way to the hospital to support his wife, her husband had a severe car accident. When she called to see why he was so late, the paramedics answered the phone.
I will definitely toast him tonight. [Sigh]
Iām really sadden to hear about LQM. He was always so generous.
Rest in peace, Martin.
Iām still stunned.

I have been influenced by a many of his posts and will miss him.
