Martin
RIP, broā
Iām bloody stunned.
horrible news, way too young.
thoughts and prayers to family and friends
This has quite upset me even though we never met except here in cyber land. Always a gent, a nice guy with a voice of reason. One of the best.
I raise my glass.
A toast
To Martin, may you be at peace.
I just heard this on another forum, man that is so very sad
So sorry to hear. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in this forum, and will be missed.
Sad news news indeed. I, like many others did not know him, but can say he was definately a forum gentleman.
This new place is now much less than the other.
Rest in peace good sir. Best regards to his family.
OMG What?
Wow.
Something similar (almost) happened to a friend of mine over the holidays. Her mother passed away and, while on the way to the hospital to support his wife, her husband had a severe car accident. When she called to see why he was so late, the paramedics answered the phone.
I raise my glass.
A toast
To Martin, may you be at peace.
I will definitely toast him tonight. [Sigh]

Iām still stunned.
And continue wishing him peaceful rest
I have been influenced by a many of his posts and will miss him.

RIP Martin, you will be missedā¦
Condolences to his wife and family
Leeds was special. He disarmed people with kindness.
IĀ“m sorry for him and his mother death.
I wish his family peace and to give them my sympathy.
HereĀ“s to you!
In a strange way this sad news brings the forum to life, reminding me that the characters here are all real people and not virtual avatars.
My deepest sympathy to his wife and family.
That is indeed sad news. He was a formidable presence in the old forum, never afraid to offer his opinions or advice. Poor old LQM, as always, the good die young.
A sad day.
Sad news indeed.
