Cubase 14 pro.
I got some issues with reordering tracks in mixer ( all mixers)
everytime I create a new track(any tracks) they sometimes end up on the right side of the mixer, and cant be moved further than a couple of steps.
If I try to move them further on to the left they bounce back to the right( they are reordered in projct window though, but not in mixer). This has nothing to do with right/left/middle zone. I’ve tried enable/disable tracks, locking/unlocking even tried to reorder them in cubade 13 but they are kind of stuck on the right in the mixer. Of course this makes it all very unorganized.
Hi and welcome to the forum!
What @SouthFresh said. Before you start to disable/reset preferences let’s have a look how your tracks are grouped in the first place. Please add a screenshot of the project window as well.
Thanks!
Sorry but still the same issue…it jumps back to the bottom of the visibility tab.
Somekind of a synchronization problem between mixer/projectwindow and visibility tab maybe?
I can move a couple of steps to the left. Still they keeping themselves to the right of the mixer.
Feels like there is line that tracks are not supposed to cross over. Jumps back
…just for the record my right zone is those purple tracks, yellow mix and master.
Sorry to say…still not working. I can slide/move the track/tracks over the mixer..
.everythinglooks great…but when it comes to the “new” position it jumps back to the right…
I discovered something. If i remove the “divide track list” everything falls to place. Then every track is in order in both mixer and projectwindow…
Maybe that can give som clue?
That is strange… I just tested and it works as expected - it doesn’t affect the option to move a track to any position if I drag it someplace else.
So, disabling Divide Track List lets you move the tracks anywhere you like?
Maybe someone else can chime in but to me this sounds like something is off.
