the only upgrade offer from “qualified” products does not take into account how many of these products you already own.
I already own Halion 7, Groove Agent 5, the things that come with Cubase 15 (Retrologue, Patshop, The Verve) and the Vitage Classics. But Steinberg wants me to pay the same amount of Money (349 €) as someone who only owns one of the products.
I bought Absolute 499 EUR once, since then I upgrade for 99 EUR, and it is nice to include what I missed on version 7, the idea if one uses other VST products he/she may need only one product, Halion, Groove for instance, but for me I planed to stick to Steinberg so bought entry license upgraded bit by bit all Steinberg till full Nuendo, Dorico, Wavelab, Spectra Layers, Absolute, Iconica in 4 years and since then just upgrades as a going on annual renewals
Contact Sales directly to get a fair discount if you are eligible for it.
That’s something only Steinberg sales know. Discounts on Cubase and Nuendo have been put on a predictable routine in recent years. Everything else doesn’t follow a strict routine but usually you’ll find some sort of sales over the course of the year. Which ones - we don’t know until we know…
Thanks for the info. I had to get a refund for Cubase 15 to help pay towards a new PC after mine died before Christmas. So would like to upgrade again and also to Absolute 7.
