I’m currently using Cubase Artist 11 and would like to upgrade to Cubase Pro 13. However, I can’t find the option for an upgradable license in my USB-eLicenser (there’s no “upgradable license” available). I’ve confirmed that the eLicenser is connected properly and that the software is up to date.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? What steps should I take to resolve this? Thanks for any help!
Buy the upgrade. Start Steinberg Activation Manager and enter the Download Access Code. It will change your Cubase Artist 11 license to the “upgraded to Steinberg Licensing…” and activate your Cubase Pro 13 with the new system.
In the Steinberg Activation Manager, double-check, that you don’t own the Cubase Artist 12 license, please. Do it via the user icon, Check Grace Period.
From the screenshot, I would guess, you own Cubase 12.
Are you sure, you are using only one MySteinberg account? The eLCC says, that Cubase Artist 11 was upgraded to new licensing system. You have to see something in the Steinberg Activation Manager.
Please, send me your USB-eLicenser Number and the email address you are using in the Steinberg Activation Manager, via Private Message. I will check them.
@Ning_Yeh, you purchased an update for Cubase Artist 11 to Cubase Artist 13.
However, the Cubase Artist 13 license was redeemed with a different MySteinberg account. As you (or someone you know) has a Cubase Artist 13 license in his/her account now, it is not possible to upgrade from Cubase Artist 11 to Cubase Pro 13 anymore. Only an upgrade from Cubase Artist 13 to Cubase Pro 13 would be possible.
As you cannot use the Cubase Pro 13 upgrade, I will cancel it and have FastSpring issue a refund for it.
