UR22 not working in various apps at the same time

I just reinstalled Windows and installed the latest drivers. For some reason now I can’t use the interface in two apps at the same time. If you try to play for example a YouTube video after opening Cubase (set to use the interface) it just doesn’t play. Same for anything audio related.

After trying everything I could, I found that the driver download page suggests downgrading if you have some issues. (can’t post the link)
Everything works again now.
