i tried some of possible solutions, but it doesn’t work, i’ve use these hardware for work and gaming in warzone it make many dropouts making the game unplayable, i tried, chanching usb 3.1 to 2.0, changing sample rate, i have recent drivers and i even updated the hardware, nothing work
Happens to me too. When I connect the interface directly to my Windows laptop, everything works fine, but as soon as I connect it to the more convenient Thunderbolt hub via USB, stuttering begins. No matter if USB3.1 or 2.0 or I update drivers or do any other trick, it stutters and the interface is unusable.
Works well over the dock on my Mac though, only Windows has those problems. Would be nice to get a fix, other sound interfaces have no problem doing sound over my Thunderbolt hub with no stutters.
Maybe this helps… some users reported that some of the settings helped. Make sure to check it out:
It seems that the Yamaha driver can’t communicate right sometimes when :
- Internal windows audio driver is disabled in bios
- When using MBR file system
- When using other OS Type setting in bios instead of Windows UEFI mode
On new systems this option is sometimes automatic on (Other OS) - When using XHCI mode
- When Intel Turbo Boost Technology is enabled
Fix: Audio interruption due to USB error is detected. (Windows) - Cubase - Steinberg Forums
