Vintage Classic preset names appear twice [SOLVED]

Windows 10
Cubase 13.0.20.148
Retrologue 2.4.0.399
Vintage Classics (using the original installer)

I see two copies of all the Vintage Classic presets in Retrologue’s browser:

However, only one of each of them works. For the one that doesn’t work, right-clicking and choosing “Show in Explorer” leads nowhere.

In the browser for the window that hosts Retrologue the presets only appear once:

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling both programs with the same result. If I uninstall just Vintage Classics then I see one copy of the presets (but none of them work, as I would expect).

How can these extra preset entries be removed?

Contact the support team, if you have proof that you purchased this library, they will activate it in Steinberg Activation Manager and you will no longer need the original installer, but you can download it from from My Steinberg Download Assistant product downloads.

I had this problem with this library and the Sound Of Soul library and that’s how I was able to solve it. These libraries did not originally have an activation code.

I did end up contacting Steinberg (US support via e-mail). They gave me these instructions, which resolved the issue!

"Thank you for that updated information.
This would mean that either your media bay is not up to date or the preferences of that were never reset for the media bay as well.
Please follow this file path
File Explorer: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg

And remove the Mediabay folder in there and open the steinberg download assistant for that to be automatically updated.
Please also reinstall your cubase application and Retrologue application as well ."

Now I just see single entries and they work as expected.
