I love you!!!

EDIT:
Ohh I read “will be released on Wednesday”, not “a Wednessday”… still love ya tho

Not cool - Cruel…

Which Wednesday?

hopefully on one of 2022 wednesdays :slightly_smiling_face:

Matthias. Pelo amor de Deus.
Which Wednesday now? :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Just avoid Good Wednesday, because in this day and age people will say that you betrayed the dongle for 99 silver coins. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Excluding today and all Wednesdays from October onward we’re down to 32 possible release dates. That’s a maximum of 31 potential disappointments. Stay strong fellas!

lol :+1:

I’m on steinberg webage, refreshing it every minute, with credit card in my other hand… I still have few hours of hope that i don’t need to wait one week more…

Wednesday still on. Keep the faith ! Later today. :stuck_out_tongue:

Unfortunately I am not going through this for another week - If it is not today- We might as well just forget about it and wait for a sale. Since Nov 2020 - Nothing for Cubase. I really believed it would follow shortly after Dorico, since the reason give by Steinberg was only the new Licensing. And since the licensing work - since the 4th of Jan - I cant find any other reason - Unless Cubase is not ready. Then it is pointless to play this game… I’m loosing faith… Way to many time spend, like you pressing F5, hoping - I’ve been waiting for some features since Cubase 5 I think - What is another year or two… Feeling Negative. :pensive:

Chill out friend. :balloon:
That Wednesday will come and we all gonna be happy with dongle free cubase 12. :gift:

I don’t mind waiting a bit more, but hopefully not TOOOOOOO long. I’d rather have them iron out as many bugs as possible, because we all know that no matter what, there will be some people here who will complain that Steinberg released it too early and should have waited before more bugs could be squashed.

So I just hope for a good release date vs bug count ratio. :grinning: :beetle: :hiking_boot:

Anyone who heard the rumour about dropping one C11 license onto another provides early access to C12 - Please, Don’t do it!

Mine jumped all the way to Cubase 22 and now can’t open it. Apparently needs an operating system from the future, worryingly you have to ask Microsoft agents to perform it for you - what’s that about?!.

Anyone know how I can downgrade back to C11, please?

Phew, that’s a tough one. You pretty much have to get in touch with “Doc” Brown, and he might not have the Delorean any more. (he hasn’t posted here in a long time). I presume any time travel machine will work, but is it worth it? I mean talk about jet lag, and you might not even transport to a Wednesday! Then what’ll you do?

It’s very very simple. If your on Apple Silicon and your native then it’s goodbye to VST2 in C12. But they can run in Rosetta and still use VST2 until all Cubase versions stops using VST2.

For everyone else VST2 will still be there in C12 so for them it’s not even an issue. If VST2 is still available for 12 month then C12 will have them (unless your using it native on apple silicon).

Then in a future release of Cubase there will be no VST2.

And here is the very simple part, if someone wants to use VST2 they can do that in C12 and keep that version and C13 or what ever future version running on the same machine.

If they are so dead against any machine without VST2 they can use another DAW (not logic or Pro Tools though).

Your virtual assistant is happy to jump with you into the future. But remember, it’s Microsoft, nothing to worry about
Spinacz

Don’t forget Windows users, it’s not all about Macintosh.

Please not bring your VST2 discussion in here. We are tired of it.
Long live VST3, VST4….

Where is dongle-free cubase 12 VST3 only DAW?!
Wednesday is not over yet . :musical_keyboard:
