This is invaluable for mixing: We should be able to see very precisely how much we’re trimming things when we use the Range Tool to trim sections of automation. In Pro Tools and some others you can also the original value and how you’re changing it when you trim actuation in this way, regardless of where the project cursor is. Little things like this would be significant workflow improvements to the improvements already made.

Was going to make a post and saw this request has been around for around 15 years (read the comments to see). So let’s make it happen in the next update, it’s highly important and costs a lot of wasted time and faffing about.

I fully agree. If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s faffing about.
At this point however, I’m convinced there isn’t a single person from Steinberg reading these feature requests.
