Windows 11 September Update Kills Audio Output on Some PCs

You can read about it here.

Windows 11 continues its streak of breaking things

Win 11 is crap and MS should be ashamed of themselves. (Itself?)
There, I said it.

Only effects certain USB devices, I’m Thunderbolt 3(on a Thunderbolt 4 connector) so no worries here…I’ve never had a USB soundcard, my last one was Pci

Win 11 runs pretty well here…I went from Win 7 to Win 11…but I built a machine with Win 11 in mind

From what I understand, the impact was for 7.1 headsets primarily. It was a USB Audio Class 1 (not Class 2 like most interfaces) with 8+ channels. That’s pretty much only 7.1 headphones.

Also, a fix has already gone out.

OMG, from 7 to 11??

I LOVED 7. I was really annoyed that I eventually had to migrate to 10.

Yup, Windows 7 was my favorite followed by Windows 2000…I never used Windows ME or Windows Phone…I mean 8  I used Windows 10 on my internet laptop, I wasn’t impressed but I do like Windows 11
