Writting using guitar & tablature template

Using the template mentionned above I won’t to add a melody staff above the guitar Treble staff notation. I have added a player for the guitar and added a player for the melody staff with a violin. But when I follow the procedure in the help file I only get a single staff not attached with the guitar and tablature staves and eventhough I select staff above it is written below but not attached to the guitar and tablature staff. Could you please explained me how I can achieve having a melody staff written above and attached to the guitar & tablature staff as for example of a piano with the melody staff above. You help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Are you speaking about the Full Score or the Guitar Layout? If you want the two “players” to appear in a Layout, select the Layout and make sure both players are ticked.

But, depending on what you need (I’m not sure I perfectly understood), you could also have one single player handling two instruments — i.e. add an instrument to your guitar player instead of adding a player?

Hi Charles

I like to produce for my first time with tablature the attached tablature above. Then that will help you in knowing what I what to achieve.
Many thanks for your help and response it is much appreciated
Warm Regards

Germain
ps: I know sometime I’m having difficulty in putting it in english since I’m french from Québec Canada

Hi Germain,

You’ve created two threads on the same topic — it might be more effective to focus on just one. I showed you in a video how to connect players/layouts/flows in Setup Mode (see link below).

If anything is unclear, maybe reply in the other thread, where other users have also contributed, I think it will be more efficient!
