Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver V1.9.6 for Mac released

Steinberg has released a new version of the Steinberg Yamaha USB driver for Mac.
The version 1.9.6 of the driver now officially supports OS X 10.11 (please read the updated information here: http://www.steinberg.net/en/newsandevents/news/newsdetail/article/usb-audio-interfaces-now-incompatible-with-el-capitan-3443.html)

Hardware products supported by this driver version are:
UR series: UR12, UR22, UR22mkII, UR28M, UR242, UR44, UR824
CI series: CI1, CI2, CI2+

The latest El Capitan compatibility chart (11/19/2015) lists the UR22 as “Compatible”. This is clearly not the case. Does this mean that Steinberg has thrown up their hands and given up trying to solve the dropout problems that many users are having?

Where is the UR 22 update? Do I need to go and buy a different interface from a company that will enable to use my DAW?

This driver not solves UR28M sound cut-out bug on OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
