Can I use my CMC-TP with cubase 13?

Topic title says it all. The TP meets my transport needs well, but can I use it with Cubase 13 Pro and, if so, how? Do I set it up as a midi remote in studio setup, and if so is a script available for it? This worked fine and seamlessly under Cubase 12.

If not, would the faderport or Behringer X-touch 1 or Icon Nano be a better choice? Honestly, I don’t care much about the fader, I just need solid transport control (especially with buttons for markers) and small size for my very cramped desk.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can.

There are already some threads on this topic, please search the forum. For example this one, or this one.

You can also use any of these with Cubase. Again, search the forum, for the MIDI Remote script.

In this case, I would stay with CMC.

In any case the old protocols still work fine & will likely continue to do so.

Thanks. I’ve looked at those threads, and I’ve moved my response to one of them. I still can’t get it to work and I think the problem may be that the required drivers don’t run on Apple silicon (I’m an an M1 Mac Studio running Cubase natively, not under Rosetta). Anyway, hopefully on the pre-existing thread I’ll either get some help or a definitive “you’re out of luck”.
