You will have your license when you complete the payment and you will be able to use Cubase today.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
First make sure, you didn’t get Cubase 12 for free during the Grace Period. If you are owner of Cubase LE or AI license, you get Cubase LE/AI 12 for free.
Then be careful with your edition. In the eLCC you will find your exact license (Cubase Elements or Cubase LE, or Cubase AI, or Cubase Artist or Cubase Pro). Use update from your exact licence, please.

Thank you for your response. I have an AI 11 license and I want to upgrade to AI 12. I purchased an update to Elements 12, but since I have an AI 11 license, I cannot perform the upgrade. How can I upgrade my AI 11 license to AI 12?

Cubase AI 12 from Cubase AI 11 update is for free. Get in contact with your local Steinberg support, please.
If you cannot use the upgrade you bought, get in contact with AskNet (whose is operating Steinberg Online Shop) to refund.

Besides the absurdity of not being able to use the upgrade key I obtained through the program’s guidance on Cubase 11, it’s strange that a service you offer for free is so inaccessible. It’s really frustrating for me to be dealing with this, even though 8 days have passed since the purchase. If you bought correct upgrade, you can definitely use it.
I can’t understand why you gave me this answer. There is a “Buy Cubase Elements 11 Upgrade Now” tab under the Cubase 11 AI Hub menu. When you click on it, you are redirected to the site “Upgrade Now to Cubase Elements, Artist or Pro | Steinberg” where there is an upgrade to Cubase Element 12. Although I have made the purchase here, there seems to be a little mistake in the redirection

This is an upgrade from Cubase AI 12, but you own Cubase AI 11 (so far). Therefore it cannot work.
As I told you, get the update to 12 for free, then you can use this upgrade to Elements too.

I think it is advisable to point out that on this forum you are indeed corresponding to other customers of Steinberg, not actually Steinberg staff.
This is not to excuse Steinberg’s non-responsiveness when somebody has a license issue but to let you know that “we” have not set up this system, neither can “we” fix anything that might be wrong with it.
We can only give advise.

I had previously tried to contact the numbers on the link, even before you wrote, but I didn’t get any results. I sent an email to “eu.css@contact.europe.yamaha.com” and the response I received was: "All Cubase AI customers (Cubase AI 4 or higher) will be able to update to the latest version of Cubase AI free of charge. With every future release of Cubase, the new Cubase AI license will automatically be updated to the latest version without breaking backwards compatibility. Older Cubase AI versions will still be covered by the new license. YAMAHA customers will greatly benefit from this free update policy since they can always be up to date with their software, and they can always work with the latest improvements and features.
So, you just go to your Steinberg account, and load the latest Cubase AI version, or you can ask Steinberg Support for help with this matter. You have registered a Cubase 11 version, so it should not be a problem to get a version 12…". But I didn’t get any results from this email either. Now I don’t know what to do.
