Updated to 13 running Sonoma 14.1. When I export audio mixdown in WAV format MAC OS does not recognize the WAV file and will not play it locally. Have you seen this behavior @Cubase Support ?
What actually gets my goat about this whole first points F *^^ up releases is we pay full price to be beta tester and then once the whole issues are ironed out ā¦ Cubase goes on sale soooo customers get a fully working C13 for half price and we have turned grey , suffered heartached , got divorced , broken backs due to the amount of time sitting and sorting out issues and Mister happy Jack waltzes straight in Half price , "thank you very much , brilliant program , canāt find any issues " if anything the pricing should be like Acustica Audio , they give a 40% discount on all releases because they know thereās going to be issues and then full price after . THis would be a lot fairer and i would happily pay , report via the Hub all the crash dumps ,come here and laugh about it but ā¦ Ā£85 to be a beta tester, then once the issues are sorted out Ā£45 for MR happy Jack ? Come Steiny Start thinking

I love the new fader cap design! Imo it doesānt look like S1 faders as someone mentioned above. Looks much more like the most beautiful designed daw with no functionality 
(as for my taste)

Is it possible that there is a small bug in the transport bar? When loading large projects the asio meter, bar counter and time counter has graphical glitches? Have the latest graphic driver installed for my system. There was never such a thing in the versions before.Maybe you can check that and confirm.Thanks for your effort

I think the biggest mistake Steinberg did with the re-design is to make everything look FLAT + white popping color everywhere which makes my eyes go around the world a couple of times after 20 minutes working in the DAW:
CB12 mixer has itās fader and buttons more rounded and visible areas compared to CB13. This in my opinion has to be fixed because I think itās kinda hard to read the track names to the left compared in CB12.
What do you guys think? See attached printscreens.
Also, check the difference in the mixer between CB12 and CB 13- printscreens. Itās day and night, to CB 12 positive side.

Agree. First of all WHITE color on dark background should be used to focus most important things - in Cubase 13 white color of fonts, lines, icons is overwhelming. Take as example your first two screenshots of project windows. In C12 only track name was white - in C13 white is everything all icons etc. Same in mixer view. After couple of hours my eyes are really tired.

Hereās the performance difference between CB12 and 13 in the same mixing project with the same plugins + I get random spikes in CB13 I didnāt get in CB 12.

Yes. I just realized that this felt like a downgrade, unfortunately. No matter how many cool new features and functions there are, the design is important for our eyes to look at, the smoothyness and such.

Dear Steinberg, itās time to hire a new GUI specialist, the current one has proven his incompetence without any doubt. And it only gets worst with each version.
Never thought it would come to this, but my aching eyes start to whisper after few hours: Enough of this inverted white on black graveyard flatness with cluttered Arial Bold on top - time to jump ship.

I know but @AtariBoy, to whomās post I replied doesnāt have one. I was interested under which configuration he ran jbridgeā¦ and it would help (if its on Mac if people would say wether they refer to something working natively on apple or if they tried something in Rosetta mode. ; )
Hi, I just bought CUBASE 13 Elements, but I realize that I received CUBASE AI LE Elements. How was it? I have CUBASE 12 AI LE and when I bought CUBASE 13 Elements there is an option to upgrade from AI LE to just Elements full version. I followed the instructions, paid the amount with the discount applied and finally I received an email from Steinberg office allowing me a code to download my new version. My confusion is why I did not receive CUBASE 13 Elements?. I want to know if someone has faced a similar situation.
Steinbergās M.O. for quite a few years and versions now. The writing is on the wall as this update has gotten some really bad feedback (for some).
ftr, Others say they have zero issues.
Either way, itās not the issues but the lack of gaf from them to fix what is (constantly) asked.
Then weāll get a letter and posts about feedback from the community, then a promise ā¦and Rinse and repeat.
Still the best for me but trending down pretty hard IMO.

BPM calculator gone!!!
As a pro Mix engineer this is really turning stupid.
Most stems I get donāt have a BPM, I have to calculate on a daily basis. Now that tool is gone. Tapping with a mouse is not remotely precise. Please put it back most professionals use this tool. Is Cubase turning into a some kind of toy?

For me it loads longer now, C12 loads 8sec, C13 loads 15sec. Dont understandā¦

Found a very annoying bug, or setting, I donĀ“t know how to qualify.
When I have 2 or more channels selected, and I click ALT+SHIFT (PC) to avtivate Q-Link, if I click on SOLO button in any channel to solo all the selected channels, they all go DEFEAT mode, not SOLO.
That doesnĀ“t happend in CUBASE 12.
Now I canĀ“t SOLO more than 1 track at the same time.
IĀ“ve tried to messing around with Key Commands, Tool Modifiers, but I could not find any solution.
Fully agree. Not to forget that other important things are still missing in expression maps (Cubase and Dorico), such as pitch wheel midi commands
