Has the painfully slow export/render in place bug been fixed that is un Cubase 12. Rendering at nearly slower than realtime is painful. On a Mac Pro 16 M1.
This update has some good bits, very very dark to see some things but I like the interface. Not really worth the £89 for the upgrade but what choice do I have. Moving two fingers sideways on Mac trackpad should scroll sideways as every other program does and two finger zoom in should…zoom in really.
Just updated to 13 Pro. I’m on Win 10 on an old pc (i7-6700K) - and WOW! I have just fiddled about for 15 minutes. I like the new look, and everything seems to be running very smoothly.
So far, I am very impressed.
And no, I don’t have any problems at all with the new fader caps and flatter gui. On the contrary.
Thank you Steinberg! I am looking forward to delving deeper into this.
Apart from the fader caps and the odd grumble with the Audio engine at the moment, i’m really liking the workflow so once the graphics are tamed down a bit and the spikings under control . I like the sytle that it could become , as many have said , the fonts are all odd , completely miss match but ive managed to get quite a good colour over this C13 so , Im liking it , i just wish for the day that i can use it for a full project because those PESKY FADER CAPS ARE DOING MY HEAD IT !
I’ve worked more extensively today in 13 Pro (Win 10, 3840x2160 screen) and I must say that I really really like the new gui. More importantly, the whole program seems snappier. And I am on an old i7, so that means a lot to me.
Personally, I couldn’t be happier with this update.
