Cubase 13 out now!

Hey Paul, we’re still testing compatibility. I’ll let you know when it’s ready! Have you already updated to Sonoma?

Yes, I’m using Sonoma 14.1 on a Macbook Pro 16" M2 Max

Hello, I have something like this to choose from for any purchase… I don’t know if this is what you are asking… This is of course in my language (Polish) but it does not matter…

Thanks @Tony_ST for sharing. Yes exactly, you’re spot on. In Norway, for some reason, I can only select “Credit/Debit Card”. I have PayPal but I am not able to select it. @Ben_at_Steinberg

This is indeed strange. Try writing to FastSpring and describe your problem. I wrote to them at least 2 times and they responded quickly.

i am very happy Cubase 13 out now… Steinberg team…
thanks from imphal,Manipur ,India

PayPal isn’t available for FastSpring in Norway, according to their documentation: Payment Methods Accepted by FastSpring | FastSpring Docs

Hopefully they will let you know how to resolve the credit card payment issue.

Will it be able to upgrade older versios of cubase LE to the new 13 version?
It dosn’t matter if the upgrsde will be payble or free as long it will be aviable.
Thnaks, Avner

@Geoff_Noble , “Steinberg Houston” can still be added in “Studio Setup” in Cubase 13. But it may have not been tested in 13.

The same problem, I can’t pay with the card from Moldova.Fix the problem, Ben, please

One small disappointment for me is no inbuilt support for the Yamaha DM3.
I had hoped with the Steiny/Yamaha link this might have been looked at.
Superb and versatile digital mixer btw :grinning:

Hi @SERGIU_TEACA - welcome to the forums!

I’m happy with C13. First impression is good. My current project just loaded fine and all settings are copied from C12. Nice. However, I was shocked when I saw the new mixer. The colors just jumped at me. Make sure to dial down the color intensity within the settings page. It looks great now.
I’m most happy that a Remote Midi Control issue is solved for me now. It came in with 12.0.30 or 12.0.40. My zooming function on the CC121 is very smooth now. Excellent.
Looking forward to dig into C13.

Are none of the plugins within Vocal chain available separately?

If I want exciter or dyn filter on a drum, I have to load up the whole vocal chain on a drum sample?

Thanks for confirming that. I would imagine it’ll work as it does in 12, as it is basically a midi controller, albeit a sophisticated one.

There are similar functions on my Nektar keyboard, however the Houston has motorised faders and the layout is more user friendly on the Houston. I always wonder why Steinberg didn’t follow it up with a more conventional style of controller but with the same functionality, perhaps something to do with Yamaha wanting to sell their own products?

I really like the changes done to chord pads. The pads changing colour on what is a good next step, changing the root notes. Well done

First thing I noticed was that the performance seems to be worse than Cubase 12. Getting CPU spikes on Cubase 12 projects that I wasn’t getting before, and my SSL UF1 is lagging when scrolling through tracks, which it doesn’t in 12. This is on PC, Win 10, i76700k, 32gb Ram. Kind of disappointing.

Yeah but Steinberg forgot to include all scale presets for chord pads. :face_holding_back_tears:

They are install on my C13 , so must be something wrong with your install

Direct Offline Processing not working at all. I’ve tried this in 2 computers (win10 and win 11). None of plugins (even Steinberg’s ones) work.
