Cubase for Linux (Ubuntu)

  • Apple’s Catalina OS imposes a new file system: Apple Proprietary File System (APFS). Files from Mojave CAN NOT BE COPIED TO CATALINA! Booooooo!
    All my Cubase instruments: gone.
    All my Cubase songs: gone.
All my lengthy audio books that I recorded: gone.

  • Apple’s Catalina is NOT backward compatible. Catalina OS malware stops all my favorite apps from working.

Since I lose all my apps anyway, when Mojave becomes unusable, it only makes sense to switch to Linux (Ubuntu). There are several powerful DAWs that already work perfectly in Linux.

Do I want to learn an entirely new DAW? No.
Has Steinberg come out with Cubase for Linux? No.

Cubase for Linux!
