At the top of the list you log in with your Apple ID for iCloud sync
Make sure that you are logged in at both places with the same Apple ID on both iPad and iPhone. Also make sure that in (2), “iCloud” is enabled.
Cubasis 3 uses iCloud to sync your list of purch…

Limitations of Audio Unit, Inter-App Audio and Audiobus
Limitations of Audio Unit extensions
Limitations of Audio Unit extensions
Dear all,
Below please find the summary of known issues / limitations when using Audio Unit extensions with Cubasis 1.9.8.
Cubasis 1.9.8 - Limitations of Audio Unit extensions
• Using multiple instances of an Audio Unit plug-in in a Cubasis project, or quickly switching between projects that contain Audio Unit instances can lead to AU instrument loading issues, instabilities, or render Cubasis unreliable.
We expect this iOS bug to be fixed by Apple somet…
Limitations of Inter-App Audio
Limitations of Inter-App Audio
IAA allows to route audio, MIDI and effects between Cubasis (host) and compatible node apps in realtime. There are three basic types of nodes:
• Effects can be set as insert or send effects
• Instruments are assigned to a MIDI track and automatically receive MIDI from Cubasis
• Generators are inputs for audio tracks
It depends on the app manufacturer what type of nodes are available.
IAA apps that are not listed as instruments (only for audio track inputs) ar…
Limitations of Audiobus 3
Audiobus 3 allows you to…
• … record and input audio and MIDI from other apps.
• … output audio and MIDI from Cubasis into other apps.
• … assign additional effect processor apps to Cubasis and other apps.
There are chances of unreliable behavior, which, if occurring, is not caused by Cubasis but due to potential complex app connections that can be established via Audiobus 3, which may also include other third party technologies such as Inter-App Audio and Audio Unit.
In this regard, issues…
Revised sample rate handling
With the release of version 2.7, Cubasis only allows you to select sample rates that are supported by the hardware.
The reason for this change is that the automatic sample rate conversion by iOS results in increased CPU usage, which would have lead to issues like crackling on the iPad Pro 3rd gen. models.
The available sample rates are dictated by the hardware of the iPad device in use. For example, the 2018 iPad Pro models (3rd gen) only support 48kHz with the internal speakers and mic, unles…
