I recently converted to Dorico from Finale. I know that sounds like a religious experience, it’s not but similar. It is a different way of doing things than before. I have been able to learn a lot in a short period of time thanks to the simple and consistent design of the software. I still have a lot to learn. Thank you for all the great work in producing Dorico!
There are a few things that I haven’t been able to figure out or find help to do.
How do you create lyrics for when a verse repeats? Below is an example of what it should look like. I have tried various ways to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
How do you fix a unison Fa in shape notes? I have tried to follow the solutions from the post below but have been unable to get this to work. Are there steps that are missing in the suggestions?
And for #2, since that thread we gained a “Hide notehead” swtich in Properties, in engrave mode. Just hide it in the lower voice. You can select a whole staff and filter by pitch, and then by voice, to do them all at once.
