I was able to get around this by right clicking just below the EQ in the mixer track, and clicking “set up sections”. Then check mark what sections you want to see.
What seems to be happening is MixConsole is resetting this setting upon program close, or project open.
I recognize that this probably won’t work for everyone, but I figured this was worth sharing in the event it does work for, at least, some.
Fiddling some more… MixConsoles 3 & 4 work ok. 1 & 2 show only meters.
I did the ‘Reset Layout’ again and Cubase didn’t crash but nothing was fixed. Then I did the ‘Close Window’ and ‘Restore Window’ and ‘crash’… Cubase 13.0.10 64bit2023.11.11 20.03.49.291.dmp (871.1 KB)
Martin… any idea when this will be fixed? I use all 4 MixConsoles in every project. I am unable to use 13 now.
Forgive me… I’m sure they realize that it’s a major issue…
Martin,
The crash hasn’t happened again. I was referencing the blank MixConsoles. However, I found that a new project created in C13 needs the full fix - opening in C12 and turning on the Racks, saving and opening in C13, closing the MixConsoles and reopening them. But it works after that.
