I suppose this applies to me maybe.

For god’s sake make this a sticky! And don’t say it’s “resolved” if we have to jump through hoops to get it to work.


My case is that I installed the trial version of N5. I now bought the update of N5+NEK and installed the NEK and entered in activation codes in the eLicenser app and it shows up as a non-trial license of both N5 and NEK.

  1. Upon starting Nuendo 5.5 it now asks me to choose either running the app in trial mode or start my “license activation”. This is obviously confusing because I already did it. But I click that option anyway.

  2. That opens a window in which I’m supposed to enter the activation code. So I do. It tells me the license is for N4 upgrade to N5. I hit “continue”

  3. It now says “No License To Upgrade Selectable”


    What do I do now?
