Snare drum rolls

So I’ve ventured into what I thought would be a simpler/“easier?” instrument to create a PM for it:
The Steel Spring-Low register:

I created the PM:

Then the percussion technique:

I also created the playing technique “label” to trigger the samples in the the score.

Here’s the sample project for those that may have SYzd Percussion:
SYzd Percussion Study Sample.dorico (1.9 MB)

I’m using the Vel. option of the instrument because many of them ONLY have this option, for now at least.

So far the triggering responses have been highly inconsistent; sometimes samples are triggered, others not.
Right now the notes in blue seems to trigger; the black ones not.
I’ve boiled it down to the simplest of versions I can think of, but still can’t figure out what I’m missing.
I hope someone can give me an answer to this challenge. I’m only using the playback techniques already in Dorico Pro 5.

Hi everyone,
I continue the challenge of creating PM’s for my VSL SYzd percussion instruments.
So far I’ve managed to do so for two instruments:
Steel Springs
Brake Discs

The whole process has included:

  1. -Creating a PM for each (as multi-instrument)
  2. -Create each instrument for the instrument picker
  3. -Assign each instrument in each PM to the right note
  4. -Assign playback tech’s for each note, using what’s available
  5. -Create Percussion playback tech’s for instruments
  6. -Create Percussion kits for each instrument (Springs & Brake Discs)
  7. -Create and save Endpoints for each percussion kit
  8. -Added endpoints to a playback template
  9. -Exported each Percussion kit

Now when creating a new player and importing one of the percussion maps, everything seemed to load up, except the instrument samples of each brake disc in the kit. Only the “title Line” of the kit has the assigned VSL Synchron Player, though with a different instrument sample. The Endpoint also had the wrong PM assigned and the title of it was of the other percussion kit I created.
So my question now is: What am I missing?
Anyone?

I am wondering if your problem could be linked to the problem I have described here :
