[solved] How to redeem Verve Analogue Machine Essentials?

Hi,
I bit the bullet and updated to C14 a couple of days ago.
We were offered some goodies with the update, of which I can’t figure how to apply for the UA Audio plugin.

Even though I do have a UA account, I can’t download it. When I follow the link in my “My Steinberg”, I get this:

There’s no mention of a redemption code in my account.

Anyone managed to get this plugin?

Thanks for your help,

Ralf

Click on the “disclosure arrow” to view the redemption code:

Your screenshot shows you’re already in expanded view, so not sure where the issue is. I could download it (even though I already had the standard one).

If you look at the first screenshot, UA Audio is asking for a redemption code, which is nowhere to be found?

The reception code is the “red code” I smeared out on my screen shot back. That’s the code you use at UAD.

That’s what I tried, however it says “Code Invalid”.

Not sure then - maybe fire off a ticket to UAD and see what’s up? Sounds like it may have already been verified?

Did you load up UA Connect and look to see if it’s there?

Yep I did. Nothing …

Thank you for your help still

Someone else seems to be having the same problem in this thread (though you wouldn’t know without using translator!)…might be Steinberg has a duff set of codes or might be UA has a problem. I would maybe try to contact support of both companies and see what they say.

Sent a message to Steinberg.

I am having the same issue as well!

I would strongly advise to follow @Thor.HOG 's and @Grim 's suggestion to contact UAD in light of the time it takes to get an answer from Steinberg support. Keep in mind that these vouchers have to be redeemed before the end of April if I’m not mistaken.

Do you have iLok Account?

Who you’re asking Rene?
If it’s me, yes I do have an iLok account.

Will do that as well. Even though I’m not sure if such a plug-in is worth the trouble.

Well, that’s for you to decide. UAD is known for their highly accurate emulations of analog hardware and most of them are really good. Although this one comes as a lite version it might be worth a shot should your options in the tape department be limited.

I got some error too, but then realized it was already activated from previous free offer, I just wasn’t aware off it nor installed

Haha, good one, thanks for sharing. Yeah, these things do happen

For those who can’t activate, first check if you already have it, since it was given away as a free universal audio for some promotion, so the second copy can’t be activated.

Checked with my existing account: there is no such plugin licensed there 100%. Tried a bunch of the others emails which do not have anything in common with UA - the same result. They just seem to be a quite greedy - that would explain everything.

I can confirm that is not the case for me; I have never redeemed this plugin before
