Now that’s how rumors are created

Well it’s not been denies or confirmed so far aaahhh

That’s a part of the illusion!

anyone got the soft opening invitation for the shop?
or is it also confidential ?!

We’ve not sent any out as yet. There’s a snag involving sales tax in one or two territories that we are currently working through.

Take your time!!!

24 days so far.

If they made the Cubase 13 upgrade free there’d by no need for a shop… Just saying…

pure logic  (no apples’ logic though )

I think for me I am quite frustrated with Steinberg. I get that people have to wait but I don’t think that SB have done themselves any favours.

For instance, I WAS looking to cross-grade from Sibelius to Dorico. My 60 day trial ran out and Steinberg have point blank refused to extend my trial.

Way to go Steinberg - how to lose customers!

I’ll be very happy to extend your Dorico Pro trial, @Shortmeister1. We’ve done it for many customers over the past few weeks, and I’ll do it for you now. Run Steinberg Activation Manager on your computer and click the “refresh” button in the top right corner, and your Dorico Pro trial (and your HALion 7 trial) will show as being valid for a while longer.

Why was I extremely curtly told that you was your policy never to extend? A shame that I had to publicly name and shame, but a very belated thank you.

I’m willing to buy from the new online shop store as well. From England.
Send me a soft opening invitation please

If you’d like me to look into it, please forward me some of the correspondence, and I’ll take it up with the relevant people. You can forward it to me at my email address, which is d dot spreadbury at steinberg dot de.

There’s no naming and shaming. This thread is full of responses from @dspreadbury and others at Steinberg offering no quibble exptensions to trials and the like while they’re navigating this issue.

Daniel has already asked for the evidence where I was told in no uncertain terms that they don’t do this and my subsequent request for escalation. I forwarded on the email chain and he has kindly offered to start an investigation as to why I was told this.

That’s great you’re being sorted. Even when mistakes are made they’re all over it :+1:
