Temporary closure of the Steinberg online shop

Welcome to the forum, @jimsteinman. I’ve extended your SpectraLayers trial until the end of October.

I volunteer for Germany. :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t know how you will choose your customers but I volunteer too ! :grinning:

If it’s just in a week, I can be the one from Spain

Does that mean all or some previous customers in some selected countries?

Best of luck with launching the new store Steinberg, we at GRRLA all support you and wish you success!

I am Brian and so is my wife.

@dspreadbury

Hi Daniel,

I hope this is the right way to request this. Very sorry to hear about the store issues. I visited on Tuesday night to purchase an upgrade from 9.5 (it ran poorly on my M1 Mac) to Elements 12, but obviously couldn’t do it. My trial of 12 has expired, so my demos are currently in purgatory until I can purchase an upgrade license. Any chance of a trial extension for 12?

Many thanks,
Joe

Welcome to the forum, Joe. I’ve extended your trial to the end of October.

Well, damn… I was so excited to get back to music production this weekend and I’m just finding out about all this mess. One question I can’t seem to find an answer for: in the FAQ, Steinberg says “click the link to find partners” and nothing shows up at all. I’m in the US. I’m downloading the 30 days trial in the meanwhile, but what about plugins? My computer (like most at this point) doesn’t have a disc player so I’m only interested in downloads. Are there really no options at all?

Try Sweetwater in the US. I just got an upgrade for SpectraLayers a few days ago. It looked like they had most/all the Steinberg titles.

I think that’s all that exists anyway

Hello, sorry if this is redundant. I searched through the forums for a duplicate question but couldn’t find one.

My trial period expired while Asknet’s market went down. I’m ready to purchase but can’t, so how do I still access Cubase 12 at this time?

Thank you.

Hi @Krister1 - I’ve extended your trial until the end of the month. I hope that helps!

Hello, I am from Japan and please excuse my incorrectness of English.

I have tried Dorico 5 trial and I found Jazz Essentials ( which is , I believe, installed with the trial version ) is really great and fits to my music quite very much. Now I am ready to buy Jazz Essentials but I, as the one in the same situation of the people here, cannot buy it.

I believe Jazz Essentials was installed with Dorico 5 trial version but I am not sure. If it is bundled with Dorico 5 Pro , I think I am ready to buy Dorico 5 Pro which is available to buy on online shops such as Sweetwater.

So my question is, is Jazz Essentials bundled with Dorico 5 Pro? And I also want to know other options which are eventually able to get Jazz Essentials. And sure if there is a way to buy it directly, it would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hi whatsupAts and welcome to the forum!
I don’t find any incorrectness in your English, but hey, I’m French, so that could explain! :joy:
Jazz essentials is bundled with Dorico 5 Pro (I don’t know about the other tiers) so you don’t need to buy it separately if you’re going to buy Dorico Pro. See you soon on the Dorico forum

I am a kind of English-fobia and I am always looking for excuses

Thank you for your information! I am searching for pages to pages and I could not find any written information about it  Thank you very much!

Sure I am also impressed with Dorico 5; I think this is a good time to leap into the world!

Big news

if you manage to open the store by the end of the month, then I’ll buy something there

Me too

hopefully after the soft opening of the “Steinberg shop” , the sales wont be soft too (for Steinberg income and for us the users eventually )
