Hi, this isn’t the right thread, but it’s within the same topic,
Are there any updates for activating c12 without the USB-eLicenser? I currently have AI11 and bought an upgrade to artist 12, but it won’t recognize the soft-eLicenser. Which made me stuck not being able to Validate the upgrade.

Feel as if I am repeating many of the same issues here.
Trying to install/upgrade to Cubase Pro 12.
I’ve qualified for(?) and installed the Elements 12 grace period upgrade. Not sure what that is doing for me though.
Artist 12 is installed (and operating) but still ‘verification pending’ in Activation Manager. I’ve added the Artist 12 activation code to the Download Manager and it just freezes. I’m assuming that is what is preventing the upgrade to Pro 12(?).
End goal is get to my Pro 12 license which seems to be eluding me.
Have I purchased the correct upgrade ‘path’ to do this?
These are the 3 licenses I have:
Cubase Elements 11 Full Version
Cubase Artist 12 Upgrade from Cubase AI / LE 4 - 11 or Essential
Cubase Pro 12 Upgrade from Cubase Artist 12
This is all I am displaying in the eLicenser:
Also, ‘Live Chat’ appears to be in a perpetual Team Meeting when I’ve tried to reach out.
Please advise. Preaching to the choir when I say this is an insanely overly complicated process to install a DAW. Great software though!

I want to run Cubase Elements 11 again, but after the update to 12, reactivation can’t find any elicenser, and the elicenser can’t find any license for version 11.

Is there a fix for this yet? I purchased Elements 11 on 15th Jan 2022, but I cant upgrade to Elements 12 for free.
After upgrading from Cubase 11.5 to Cubase 12, all of my other licenses (Halion, Groove Agent, etc.) have disappeared from my eLicenser. Putting in an activation code for any of my products takes me to a screen that says I have ‘no upgradeable products’. How can I get my licenses back???

I have similar problem, but I upgraded from cubase 9.5 pro to 12 pro, but unfortunately eLicenser got key for cubase 11 non-upgradeable… What can I do in this situation.

CUBASE PRO 11 - NON-UPGRADEABLE
If your Cubase 11 license name has changed into “non-upgradeable”, there is nothing to worry about. Actually, the update has been successful. It just means that the Cubase 11 license has been used to validate your eligibility to update to Cubase 12 and that it cannot be used to update to Cubase 12 again. You will still be able to use this license to open Cubase 11 and previous versions as usual.

Cubase 12 just keeps crashing every time I open it… What else could be the problem… It says something about groove agent le has error… as I press ok, It crashes… What could be the problem?
Have you updated Groove Agent to the latest version? Could you sent me crash log in a PM please?

On the 5th March I tried to Use Activation Manager to upgrade to Cubase 12.
eLcc says “Cubase Pro 11 (Grace Period Eligible)”. There is another instrument on the dongle : “Vienna Instrument DL Upright Bass” - don’t know whether that’s relevant.
Anyway, Activation Manager says “No Licenses Found”
Select icon top right, and then “Grace Period Check”.
Then “Run Check”.
Message is “Error during grace period check”, and “An unknown error occurred … etc”
Tried again on 6th March. Same result.
Tried again on 7th March. Same result
…
…
…
Tried again on 12th March. Same result.
How patient should I be ?

Apparently eLcc should not be run as administrator. Once changed, the problem is fixed.
