Automation does not follow when using the fade editor

Hi,
There’s a bug when nudging audio in the crossfade editor: the automation does not follow the audio events even though “Automation follows events” is activated.
I hoped to see this fixed in Nuendo 7, as I pointed it out in 2014 already.
Please get this fixed. This makes the crossfade editor useless when using automation…
Thanks
Philippe

Automation does not follow when using the fade editor
Postby PhilippeCNA » 04 Jun 2014 09:44
Hi,
When I move audio in the X-fade editor (Nudge = move audio / Chaining = until end), the corresponding track automation does not follow these moves although “Automation follows events” is activated.
When I move the objects themselves in the project window, automation follows normally.
I need the automation to follow when moving audio in the X-Fade editor.
This is needed when working on multichannel edits in Group Editing Mode.
How can I do this?

When nudging audio in the crossfade editor, automation related to that audio, and all of the following audio, does not follow.
Although “Automation follows events” is selected.
Due to this bug, which has always been present in Nuendo, once you have nudged audio in the crossfade editor, your mix is ruined and you can’t recover.
And the nudge function in the project window is not the same as in the crossfade editor.
Please address this bug.
Thank you!
