I have worked hard to create a detailed core template, but on several occasions, after saving it correctly, the template fails to appear in the Cubase Hub’s “Create New Project” window.
-
The template is clearly saved on my hard drive.
-
If I then try to save a new template using the exact same name, Cubase correctly recognizes the file and prompts me to confirm the OVERWRITE.
-
This suggests the file exists, but for some reason, the Hub cannot find or read it. It’s frustrating to spend an hour perfecting a template only to have it disappear from the main interface.

I would appreciate a simple explanation regarding the function of creating a new folder (via “Save as Template”) when organizing my files. When I create a new folder (e.g., ‘Old’ or ‘Roy’s Templates’), this folder structure does not seem to carry over to the Cubase Hub. The templates continue to appear as a single flat list, ignoring the folder structure.
How can I ensure the Hub correctly organizes or hides templates based on the folder structure I create?
