Cubase 15 cannot open either users project templates or system templates. Clicking any project template only results in a blank project being created instead of the template itself opening. I have never encountered this issue with other versions. The method of refreshing MediaBay that I found in the forum is not helpful.
After reinstalling Cubase 15, it still doesn’t work. This situation occurred once before: I uninstalled all Steinberg-related components, deleted their residual files, and reinstalled Cubase, But today, without having done anything, just after turning on the computer, it suddenly became unusable again.. But it’s 60GB in size, and I can’t keep doing this every time!

Could you try to open the given source/template projects, please?
I can’t help with your issue, but you only need to install/un-install the Cubase installer, not all the extras.

However, after modifying and saving a template, it only appears in MediaBay after a rescan. Both user project templates and system templates fail to open properly. This is not an isolated issue—some of my producer friends have also encountered the same problem too.
There must be underlying issues here that need to be fixed in your next version. I never had this problem with any previous versions; it seems the current Steinberg Hub is not very friendly to templates and is prone to bugs.

Are you aware of the issue with needing to re-install MediaBay for templates to work in CB15 for some people? For me on MacOS and others on Windows it was not updated when I used the Steinberg Download Assistant to install CB15.
In the first thread, the user didn’t have any of the tracks in the template visible.
In the second thread, the template isn’t showing at all. The Media Bay apparently works, but I haven’t tried it. I only saw this issue once–I resolved it by un-checking and re-checking “Templates” in the Hub settings.
